My name is Andrew Muñoz and I’ve been married to Amanda Muñoz for 7 years now. We have two daughters Lydia is 3 and June 1. They are the loves of our lives. My wife and I have known for each other for over 20 years. We first met right here at The Grove Church when we were younger. Amanda was born in Everett and grew up in this church. I was born in Southern California and moved here when I was 8 years old. We both had super cute crushes on each other. In fact, at one point in kids church, we attended a Mariners game as a large group. (Keep in mind we were only 10 or 11 years old). I liked Amanda so much that I went up to her and gave her a Mickey Mouse ring to express my love towards her. She was so into me that during the game she threw a Snapple bottle and hit me in the back of the head; this was her way of saying Thank You. We’ve been in love ever since. It’s a violent love but love nonetheless…(:

If we’re not at The Grove Church, you will find our family on a walk in Snohomish or out and about checking out fun coffee shops and bookstores. We like going out and doing stuff together. Our favorite spot right now is Calico Cupboard in Mount Vernon. Incredible cinnamon rolls. We both come from two amazing families who have a lot going on. There’s always a birthday party, a sports game, a baby being born, or family dinner happening. We’re big on our family time and love being together.
Our deepest passion is for you to see and find the hope of Jesus Christ.
We believe Jesus is the answer to every need in this life and we feel responsible to point as many people as possible to Jesus’ saving grace. We love seeing the people of God reach out to the world by being the salt and light of the earth. We are passionate about making a lasting impact in the communities that we live in. We hope to meet you soon on a Sunday at The Grove Church and we hope you find a place to belong here.
